As the United States was heading into the Great Depression Everett Green had a vision of how he could survive in troubled times.

In 1929 Everett obtained the title of the 304th certified public accountant in the state of Texas. After being a sole practitioner for 27 years he went into partnership with Ross McElreath in 1956 which started the Green & McElreath “Legacy”.

Ross became a certified public accountant in 1955 and held certificate number 3,606. Ross was known for his stern and straight to the point personality.

Over the years there are many partners who have contributed to the success to carry on the legacy.

Remaining true to our past, Green & McElreath continues to meet the needs of businesses, affluent and high net worth individuals with broad-based, comprehensive solutions delivered with personalized attention.
