The firm Green & McElreath has been in business since the early 1960's. We can trace our history even further to the late 1920's, and we still serve some of those early clients. The partners here are active in the accounting profession, having served as president of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Houston Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. Green & McElreath is a full service, locally owned accounting firm. We preserve assets through generations and provide bookkeeping and payroll assistance, investment advice, accounting and audit services, business and financial consultation, internal audit operations design and assistance, estate and trust services, tax matters consultation and preparation, computer hardware and software resources, elder care assistance, etc. Our certified public accountants average in excess of 20 years of experience, all of whom are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Licensing as a Certified Public Accountant is provided by the State Board of Public Accountancy in Texas, Louisiana and Oregon. The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' small firm practice section. We have been peer reviewed seven times, all of which have resulted in "unqualified," clean opinions.
